I asked my sweet handsome husband (a little sucking up never hurt anyone) to bring me home some yarn from the store and specifically wanted crochet thread . I had an idea to use a tiny hook and crochet a rope like necklace. I stopped at bracelet length and added buttons and a knot instead and it's adorble!

Playing with food!

I was making a chicken salad today and was chopping up celery when an idea hit. I cut all the celery off the stem (bottom?) and it resembled the shape of a rose. What did I do next you ask? Grabbed some paint , paper, and my crafty wingman Timmy and showed him how to stamp with it! After our fun stamping our "roses" we took an apple out of the fridge and made apple prints! So much fun.

Pom Pom Yarn!

How much fun is pom pom yarn? Have you seen it? Seriously some cool looking yarn and super soft. My problem? I do not know what to make with it. I bought it for $3 on sale at AcMoore and I have had it in my basket for a week or more now and have no clue what to do with it. So I did some research.

Honey Nut Cheerios Balls

We made Honey Nut Cheerios balls yesterday for a play date snack! Making them was the same idea as rice kristpie treats- sticky and messy. To prevent sticky hands (especially because we were playing outside) we stuck lollipop sticks in them!
